Naftalan oil — – dense, black – brown liquid with a specific aromatic smell. Naftalan has big viscosity, sour reaction, high specific weight (0,91 – 0,96), high temperature of boiling (from 220 °C and above), hardening temperature (-20 °C). When mixing with water gives rather resistant emulsion.
Naftalan has a difficult chemical composition and is low-sulphurous, nonparaffinous oil, almost doesn’t contain easy fractions, just as gasoline, kerosene, naphtha.
