Gabala
Gabala (Qabala) is a small, but modern city of Azerbaijan which is respectfully called the ‘Azerbaijanian Switzerland’ by people. The area of the resort is not that large — together with the adjacent lands the city territory occupies 1,500 sq. km. The number of residents is also small – less than 13,000 people.
The climate is rather pleasant: mountains protect the resort in summer from enduring heat, and in winter — from severe frosts, therefore the weather here almost always pleases tourists and local residents with its mildness. From April to September there is a season of rain in this locality, but moisture level even in this period remains low and quite comfortable for having a good rest.Attractions and sights
